FAQs

The questions people ask before they sign.

Taken from the ones we get. If yours is not here, ask a consultant directly and you will get the same kind of answer.

What makes you different from the last three companies who said that?

You can check both of these. The phone gets answered by an engineer who has seen your site. And we cover nine service lines under one contract, from the cabling in the wall to the helpdesk. One contract, one number, no finger pointing. If it plugs in or turns on, we take care of it.

How do we work out which plan is right for us?

We do not sell plans off a shelf, so the honest answer is that we look first. We walk the site, document what is there against what the paperwork claims, and work out what the current arrangement is costing you including the parts that never show up on an invoice. What comes back is a written scope with part numbers, real lead times and a price that holds. If the sensible answer is less than you asked for, that is what it will say.

Do we have to sign a long contract?

Standard agreements run one year. We do not do multi-year lock-ins, because a company that needs a three-year contract to keep you is relying on the contract, not the service. We would rather you renew because the work was good.

What if it does not work out?

You leave at the end of the term and we help you go. Agreements run a year, so you are never more than twelve months from leaving, and there is no clause that makes leaving expensive. We hand over what we hold about your environment, documented, because the alternative is withholding it, and that is not a reason to keep a client. We would rather you stay because the work is good.

Can you support us if we are not in Maryland?

Yes. Most of what we do is remote and remote does not care where you are. For the work that needs hands on site, we deliver through a nationwide network of teams, so you are not waiting on somebody driving across three states. The ticket stays with the engineer here who knows your building either way.

We already have an IT person. Are you going to replace them?

Not unless that is what you want. A lot of our work is co-managed: your person keeps the relationships and the institutional knowledge, and we take the parts that do not fit in one job, like after-hours cover, patching, security tooling and the projects that need four people for a weekend. It usually makes the internal role more survivable, not less.

How do we pay?

AnyBill, credit card, ACH transfer or a cheque. Whichever your finance team already has a process for.

What happens in the first month?

Discovery first, which is the site walk and the documentation. Then the plan, with equipment, lead times and a price that holds to the invoice. Nothing gets installed before you have seen what it is and what it costs, and no quote of ours goes up after you sign it.

Still deciding? A 20-minute call with a consultant costs you nothing and you will get a straight answer, including if the answer is that we are not the right fit.

Let's talk about what's not working.

A 20-minute call with a consultant. No sales script.
